After a super successful year of running our full programme of adult climbing courses, we have listened carefully to the feedback, redesigned some courses and introduced some new ones too. Whether you are a complete novice or competent improver, our experts will guide you indoors and out!
These sessions are designed for people who want to give climbing a try, and see what all the fuss is about. Even if you have only climbed the stairs, you will learn basic techniques to show you how fun and safe climbing can be.We will teach you the basics of top rope climbing and bouldering safety, so you can make the most of your visit when you come back. The Beginner Climbing Course is designed for the complete novice, or those who have done a little climbing in the past, but do not have a grasp of the technical aspects of the sport. The course is run over 4 weeks and includes the Competent Climber course and both Skills Workshops. CLICK HERE
The competent climbing course is designed for the complete novice, or those who have done a little climbing in the past and want to grasp the techniques to climb and belay safely, without the need of instructor supervision. CLICK HERE
Each 2 hour workshop is aimed at those who have already completed the Competent Climber Course and want a little guidance to progress. The workshops are split into a technical skills workshop and a technique workshop and are run over a couple of hours including all the kit. CLICK HERE
An intensive course teaching the safety and techniques of lead climbing and belaying. For those who want to really push their ability indoors and outdoors. CLICK HERE
This workshop is aimed at those who have not climbed for a while and need to brush up on their skills before registering as competent users of the centre, focusing on safe and recognised belay techniques and rope work.
